  • WELCOME

Welcome to my brand new blogsite! My name is Dylan Murphy and I just recently moved to the Bloomington, Indiana area.

I believe all people are naturally beautiful and that beauty can be found in almost anything. I love quirky, offbeat, and strange and it shows in some of my work and the things that inspire me. However, I still have a fine appreciation for the traditional as well. I do a lot of different things so I'm trying to make this site all inclusive without being confusing or overwhelming. Take a look around and follow me around the web! Also, be sure to click the rss icon at the top to subscribe!

Carson at 5 1/2 months | Bloomington, IN baby photographer

Finally some new photography to post! Carson’s Mommy works at the West Baden Springs Hotel in West Baden, IN so I made the trip to this gorgeous hotel. The architecture is seriously beautiful with tons of awesome old furniture. The atrium is really spectacular. I’ve known Carson’s Mother since we were little kids so this is really crazy that everyone is all grown up now. This was my second photoshoot with a baby, ever. I have a photoshoot back in Effingham with a band for some promo’s this weekend, so expect to see some of those soon as well!

Not Photography | Bloomington, Indiana Photographer

So, this blog has been neglected lately…Hopefully I can get some things going with my photography here soon. Over the last week I’ve been dabbling in doing some montages using public domain, stock, vintage, and old family images. Here are a few. I’m not sure if I’ll keep doing these or not, but it’s something new I can post! right?
